Jana Hackman is a long-standing dedicated member of Canadian Women in Energy (CWiE), committed to making a positive impact in both the industry and community through charitable work, organic mentorship, and education. Currently serving as Vice President, Jana has also held the positions of Director of Events and Director of Community Engagement.
As a board member, Jana has been instrumental in promoting the organization’s pillars of Philanthropy, Education, and Networking. Through her leadership, she has fostered a vibrant, inclusive community that empowers women, enriches careers, and drives positive change in Alberta’s energy industry. Her alignment with CWiE’s mission and dedication to integrity make her an asset, while her innovative networking approach inspires women in the sector.
Outside of CWiE, Jana has over 12 years of experience in the energy sector and excels in providing best-in-class cloud services that elevate business performance. As the Strategic Account Manager with SaskTel National, she is renowned for delivering critical solutions that achieve desired business outcomes while fostering trusted relationships.
Looking ahead, Jana is committed to furthering CWiE’s impact by expanding current initiatives, enhancing mentorship opportunities, and fostering collaboration with other industry organizations. Her vision for the future includes creating more platforms for women to share their experiences, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential in the energy sector. In her free time, Jana enjoys spending quality moments with her family and friends and spoiling her Staffy, Bella. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves exploring the unique social and dining experiences that Calgary has to offer.
