Meaghan Gurnsey serves as the Treasurer for Canadian Women in Energy.
Meaghan Gurnsey began her career as a CPA but recently has transitioned into a Commercial Operations Advisor role with Inter Pipeline. With over 6 years of experience in accounting and auditing roles in the energy sector, she is able to combine her financial acumen with entrepreneurial mindset to develop and execute strategic initiatives driving growth.
As someone who grew up with family who worked in the industry, she always knew she wanted to work in oil and gas. When she discovered CWiE she was excited to join an organization that focused driving positive change in the industry.
Meaghan is honored to be mentored by fantastic women in the energy industry. She was drawn to join the CWiE board to support the empowerment and mentorship of women. She looks forward to giving back to CWiE through her love for numbers and supporting the growth of current and future leaders in the energy industry.
In her spare time, Meaghan loves to hike with friends in the Rocky Mountains and internationally, is on a constant journey to learn something new and loves to put together a great outfit!
