Join Canadian Women in Energy (CWiE) and relax during a dreamlike evening of sound and wellness at The Westin Calgary’s newly renovated top-floor pool in Downtown Calgary. Experience Floating Frequencies, a carefully curated floating sound bath designed to leave you deeply relaxed and restored.

Guests may choose to float weightlessly on an air mattress in the pool, or relax poolside in a cabana for two or a lounge chair, while immersed in the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, ocean drums, and gong frequencies. The gentle movement of the water combined with the calming vibrations creates an immersive environment for deep relaxation.

Sound healing works through a process called entrainment, where the brain and body begin to synchronize with external vibrations. Instruments like crystal bowls and gongs produce frequencies that can help shift the brain from active states (beta waves) into slower, restorative states (alpha and theta waves), which are associated with relaxation, meditation, and deep rest.

Please note: Due to the setup they cannot accommodate early arrivals.

Upon registration, Somatika will send a separate liability waiver that must be filled out prior to the event.

A light snack and refreshment (typically granola bar bites) are included.
