Important Safety Requirements

This is an active industrial facility, so a few requirements apply to keep everyone safe:

Personal protective equipment (PPE):
This is an active industrial facility, and all attendees must follow Kiewit’s safety protocols. Before the tour begins, everyone will take part in a mandatory on‑site safety briefing that covers hazard awareness, movement through active work areas, and expectations for staying within designated walk paths.

PPE is required at all times in the yard. Kiewit will provide hard hats, high‑visibility vests, safety glasses, and gloves, and attendees must bring 6″ CSA‑approved steel toe boots and long sleeves. Some areas may be restricted due to active fabrication or equipment movement, and photography may be limited for safety or confidentiality reasons.

After the technical session, attendees are invited to continue the conversation at our Mix & Mingler, beginning shortly after 6:00 PM at LOCAL Public Eatery Sherwood Park (350 Baseline Rd, Sherwood Park, AB) in Sherwood Park.
