Join CWiE Edmonton for an outdoor tree planting event with Root for Trees. This is more than a volunteer day—it’s a chance to give back, connect with each other, and grow Edmonton’s urban forest one tree at a time.
🌿 Date & Time: Friday, June 20th, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
🌿 Location: Terwillegar Dog Park – final planting site and meeting point will be confirmed by Root for Trees one week prior to the event
🌿 Who Can Join: CWiE members / prospective members & WBF
What to Bring & Wear:
Dress for the weather – long pants, layers, a hat, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes (mandatory).
Bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and snacks.
All planting tools, gloves, and trees will be provided by Root for Trees.
Important Notes:
Participants must wear appropriate footwear (no sandals, flip-flops, or heels).
A Program Leader from Root for Trees will contact us at least one week in advance to share details about parking, site maps, and answer any questions.
