Shauna De Freitas is the Director of Events for the Canadian Women in Energy’s (CWiE) Calgary Chapter, where she leads the planning and delivery of events that bring women in the energy sector together. She previously served as Volunteer Events Coordinator with CWiE, where she coordinated and supported events across the chapter before stepping into her board role.
As a Business Strategist with Social Anatomy Marketing, Shauna works with founders and leadership teams in the oil and gas, construction, and professional services sectors to align operations, strengthen culture, and position their organizations for sustainable growth.
With over a decade of experience in strategy and organizational leadership, Shauna holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from UBC Okanagan and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Calgary. She is committed to growing the reach of CWiE’s Calgary Chapter and creating events that translate into real career opportunities for women in energy.
