Sheliza Kassam serves as the Technical Education Chair of Canadian Women in Energy’s (CWiE) Edmonton Chapter.
With experiences in Alberta’s downstream, upstream and midstream Oil & Gas sectors, Sheliza is currently an Operations Engineer at Pembina supporting the Drayton Valley area. She is committed to the 30 by 30 targets and sits on University of Calgary’s Engineering Endowment Fund Board. Since she was awarded Top 20 Under 20 Canada, Loreal Paris Women of Worth National Honoree and Young Women in Energy.
At age 15, she founded Children’s Birthday Miracles, a charity that supports children diagnosed with cancer and those in need, raising over $350,000 globally with support from Google, Coca-Cola and McDonalds. Outside of work, Sheliza enjoys travelling and is a professional Bollywood dancer.
