Amy Spark serves as the Technical Education Chair of Canadian Women in Energy’s (CWiE) Edmonton Chapter. 

With over 16 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, and marketing, Amy is the owner and Principal Consultant of Spark Pursuits and Marketing Solutions, a consulting firm she founded in 2022. She specializes in crafting tailored strategies, streamlining processes, and delivering educational programs for professionals in the construction and business industries.  

Amy’s career is distinguished by her leadership in crafting multi-year strategic plans, managing large-scale project portfolios, and driving collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. She has held key roles at organizations such as Ledcor, Bird Construction, and PCL Construction, where she honed her expertise in proposal management, marketing, pursuit strategies, as well as contract and risk management and contract execution.  

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Amy is a dedicated educator with over seven years of experience teaching courses on Artificial Intelligence and Technical Writing through various construction associations across North America. She is passionate about mentoring others, enhancing communication and strategic thinking skills, and promoting sustainable business practices. Amy has also contributed her expertise through volunteer work with institutions like NAIT, SAIT, Mount Royal University, and the University of Alberta. 

When she is not working, Amy enjoys traveling to visit her family in Costa Rica and the UK. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and spends her free time snowboarding or exploring the mountains.
